What appliances have the most problems?

The most common household appliance service problems for dishwashers are lack of drainage and leaks. Puls used Bosch, Frigidaire, Kenmore, KitchenAid, LG, Maytag, Samsung, Sears and Whirlpool in the survey. Whirlpool and Maytag came out as the most trusted brands in the Puls survey, but they followed Kenmore and LG, among others, in a Consumer Reports study. Approximately 40% of refrigerators will have problems in the first five years.

The most common problems reported by consumers are that the machine does not cool properly (23%), that the ice machine does not work (5%) or that the machine is leaking (3%). July has the highest number of refrigerator breakdowns of the year, followed by August and June.
